To celebrate one of Crystal’s favorite holidays, we are holding yet another contest for our players. This one is a scary story writing contest, based on the horrific abyss of the mortal world known as Qui Morvas.
“Sailors tell stories of an unknown ancient evil that sleeps in the belly of Qui Morvas. Entire ships have been swallowed whole by sailing too close to the outer reaches of Qui Morvas.
Most know it as a set of islands far off the northwest coast of El Raanin. Islands that no ship dares to travel near, which is why all shipments from El Raanin are forced southwards around Eadoin.
Historians attempt to tell us stories of the beasts of Qui Morvas, but no one knows for sure what really lies there. Some theorize that it is the gateway to Abystus, and the beasts act as guardians so that the dead souls of evil cannot escape. Others believe it to be a holding place of great evil that only the Gods can even begin to fathom. There are even stories that a God created Qui Morvas as a weapon during the Age of Strife.
All questions have ever only been answered with more questions. Any who have attempted to discover the truth, have never returned.”

Theme: Make your story based around a unique legend or harrowing tale about the legendary Qui Morvas. It can be based around any race and any time period, and as gory and scary as you like!
