The Mists are the womb of creation. Everything was created from the Mists, including the Gods and Goddesses in the heavens. The Mists are told to be the embodiment of Olu or “The One.” The all-powerful being who sculpted each Deity from the Mists to come together and create the world of Visola. In turn, the Deities created their own beings in their image, from the mists.
There are certain parts of the world where the Mists still linger and it is an untold legend that due to conflict, the Mists may encompass the world again, destroying it completely. So it is a fair warning to be wary when you feel the presence of an Advent of the Mists.
