New characters can often use the where command to find other players in the same area they are in. It doesn’t list names, instead only numbers, and what room they are located in.

In addition, players can also turn on their nowhere flag, if they do not wish to be found using the where command.

Keep in mind, the where command is considered and OOC command only, not to be used for IC knowledge.
